Anyone has the potential to become a Forex trader from home and the good news is it only takes a few weeks to learn the basics of Forex trading and get on the road to a great second or in some instances a life changing income.

In Forex trading 95% of traders lose and this is due to them having the wrong mindset, rather than not being able to learn to trade; this will become clearer as we look at our 4 steps to currency trading success.

1. You Have to Accept Responsibility and Learn

Most traders can't accept they have to make an effort to win at Forex trading and follow cheap Forex robots and self proclaimed guru's, who promise them success for a hundred dollars or so and no effort. Of course in a market where 95% of traders lose, it's obvious you need to learn skills to win.

If you are not prepared to accept responsibility for your destiny, don't trade Forex. To win you need to get a good Forex education and the good news is you can learn to trade quickly.

2. You Only Need a Simple System

Many traders want to try and be clever and build complicated trading systems but in the brutal world of Forex trading, they have to many elements to break and the trader losses.

In Forex trading, simple systems work best because there more robust than complex ones, so keep your trading system simple! There is no point, in making more effort than you need too!

3. Money Management is the Basis of Forex trading Success

There are many different ways to make money but all successful traders know that to win long term you must not let losses get out of control - losses must be taken quickly and kept small.

You are going to have losing periods and that's a fact but if you keep losses small and run your profits, you can make huge gains over the long term and that's the aim of every trader.

4. A Disciplined Mindset can Lead you to Success

Keeping losses small, relies on getting the right mindset and most traders can't achieve this because their emotions get the better of them.

They get angry at the market and feel foolish, try and run their losses and hope they turn around but that leads to disaster. No one likes to be wrong and no one likes taking losses but you must! If you cannot trade your system with discipline, you don't have one! Taking losses short term is fine, if you focus on how much money you could make lonmg term by trading in a disciplined fashion.

In this article we will introduce a 5 step plan to get you started trading Forex online. Many people hear about Forex and its money making potential, but don't pursue it any further for one reason or another, and therefore miss out on the opportunity. The 5 steps below will help you learn how to get started with Forex trading.

Step #1 - Find Free Online Forex Resources

The internet is full of learning resources. You can easily find enough information online to learn Forex for free without spending money on books, courses, or tuition. Forex brokers are eager to help you get started, and they offer many free resources to help you learn Forex trading. There are also several other websites that include articles, advice and tips.

Step #2 - Study and Learn Forex Trading

Once you have located some free online resources, make a point to use them. Just like when you are trying to learn something for school or your job, spend time reading and studying so that you have a good comprehension of the subject. One way to know that you understand, is to try to explain it to somebody else. Focus on learning chart analysis, as this will help you make good buy and sell decisions once you start trading.

6 Life As a Forex Trader - Acting Compulsively

There are many things in your Forex trading career that are as important as having a good system. You should never underestimate the importance of having the right mindset, and the dangers of having the wrong one. A career as a Forex trader can be a rich and rewarding experience or your worst nightmare.

I know many traders that develop and addiction to the Forex market. An addiction that is as dangerous and destructive as any other. Trading the Forex market should never get in the way of you living your life.

It is easy for people with addictive personalities to take the wrong path while trading the markets. That is why knowing yourself is so important. If you tend to do things compulsively then maybe you should think twice before getting involved in trading the Forex market; or any other market for that matter.

The Forex market is an addictive occupation, and unless you are prepared it can easily suck your life away. Just like alcohol, drugs or a gambling addiction.

Why are you trading in the first place? What do you expect to get out of the market? Do you know your weaknesses and strengths? Different people trade for different reasons. Analyze yourself and if you think you are up to the challenge go ahead. Trading is a beautiful and rewarding business.

I think I can offer you guidelines so you can determine if you have an addictive personality.

1.- Analyze your family history.

Abused children or the ones that lived on unstable homes are more likely to develop an addictive personality.

2.- Guilt feelings

Do you feel guilty after doing something? Do you keep doing it anyway?

3.- Do you lose control easily?

My father use to say, when I was young: "You can take a drink once in a while, that's ok. The problem is when the drink takes you. I think this applies to any kind of addiction. For example, in the Forex market, you can trade for a living but never live for the trading.

Anyone with the determination and the right information can learn how to trade the Forex market. Knowing yourself is as vital as having a good system, it will help you avoid a lot of pain in your trading.
A good mechanical system can help you trade with profit and let you live your life at the same time.

1 Benefits of Online Forex Trading

Since the introduction of the Internet, personal computers and various other technological advances, online forex trading has seen a big jump in its popularity. Forex trading is no longer a preserve of the wealthy few and the large financial institutions. It is now available to those with access to the Internet. It is now more profitable to trade forex online with special software, and offers more benefits than the conventional methods.

Online forex trading simply means trading and exchanging currencies with the aim of making profits. It can be done at any time of day or night, and from anywhere in the world. The global forex scene right now offers lucrative grounds for trading, and has seen many sign up to trade. As long as you have a computer, internet access and knowledge on the fundamentals of online forex trading, you are good to go.

Before you can get to the point of being able to trade successfully, there is a learning curve that one must go through. Trading online requires commitment and time to get better. It is advisable for new traders to take the time and read all the material they can get their hands on regarding currency trading. Because of this feature, many online forex traders are well versed in the fundamentals of the trade, and as such less erroneous decisions are being made.

There are many forex trade sites online that offer practice accounts that allow you to study and practice before going for the real thing. This is a good learning ground for traders to know the ups and downs of the forex market, before they choose to invest their hard earned money. In this way, you get a feel for the currency markets, and test your decision making skills early.

Online trading accounts are more flexible and reliable than using desktop software. This is because the accounts give you a way to analyze market trends as they happen. The accounts also offer training material, so you can get the latest information about the currency markets and how you can invest safely.

With online trading accounts, you don't need large sums of money to get started. You can start trading with a little as $50. This is in stark contrast with other financial trading options such as stocks and bonds, which require huge financial investments to begin trading. It is easier and cheaper to get started with online forex trading.

There is a lot of information all over regarding the currency trading process. Traders find it easier to learn to trade successfully than it was in the past. This is largely thanks to the opening up of the online forex platform to the public. Today, there are even online courses that teach traders how to increase their skills. These courses are offered by professionals and brokers who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with others. These brokers and professionals have seen it all and can offer you a wealth of knowledge concerning online forex trading.

If you are interested in online forex trading, then you would be wise to start with a practice account; one with virtual money so you can get a realistic look and feel of trading in online forex.

1 A Day in the Life of a Forex Trader

Are you looking into breaking into the field of professional foreign exchange trading? Or are you already a forex trader doing it regularly? Either way, this article may be of interest to you. The forex trader is a different breed of human being. They utilize the markets to earn a living everyday. We have a look into the insight of a day in the life of a forex trader.

Any professional forex trader has the potential to make massive returns from their initial investment or on the nastier side any trader can make massive losses. It is not a game of chance, trading is a skill of emotional control and sound decision making. Traders have an understanding of market mechanics and their behaviour as a response of economic trends.

Traders makes their living from taking advantage of price differences between the buy and sell price of currency pairs and more importantly they make their money by following the market trend. If you yourself have studies forex charts you may notice how the price fluctuates - there are only three directions the price can do: rise, fall or stay the same. Currency prices only stay the same if the currency value is not floated and fixed to a certain value. Traders make their money on the difference on price so the trader can either buy long and hope the currency rises or sell short as the currency drops in price and still makes a profit.

The advanced forex trader waits for a new trade or rather waits for the right time to open a new trade by looking for the right indicators and signs to signal an entry into the foreign exchange market. There are two things that the forex trader can do at home to watch out for an entry signal: look at charts or wait for news. Traders watch for the right trending signals to enter a trade. And the primary rule for the trader is that 'the trend is your friend.' Stick to the trend and you won't get hurt. Secondly, traders also watch the news. They must know what economic data is coming out on which days and what that data means to the future of the economy of the respective countries. If they don't keep track of these facts and economic data and indicators they may find that some currencies are especially volatile during these news announcement events and see the market jump. The forex trader must be ready for these economic announcements to ensure they can anticipate the increased market activity

Once the forex trader has successfully entered into a trade, a trade that is going well the trader then simply rides the trend to completion, implementing a trailing stop to lock in profits as the price trends the way the trader wanted the trend to go. But if the trade goes sour, the forex traders needs to exit the trade with grace. The trader must cut their losses to succeed in the business of foreign exchange trading.

Hopefully this has given you an overview of what a professional forex trader does to make a living from simply taking advantage over the price difference. The technique is to enter a trade correctly using trend analysis or a news announcement and then follow the rules of "riding the trend" or the "trend is your friend" with "cutting your losses quickly."

0 Ways to Stay Motivated When Going for Your Goals

Staying motivated is one of the hardest things to do in your quest to achieving your goals. The challenges can be very difficult to overcome or you could just lose interest. With so many distractions, you may just end up abandoning your goal and going for something else. To keep yourself motivated, here's a list of some things you can do.

Be with positive people.

When faced with problems, good conversations, laughter and positivity can do more wonders than anything else. When you have people who support you and believe in you, you can't help but believe in yourself too. So share your goals with your family and friends, they will always be ready to offer you cheers, good advice, reminders, and even some scolding when you need it.

Have a break.

Every now and then, we just feel tired and we can't help feeling like quitting. When these times happen, give yourself a break. Sometimes, spending time away from everything is all you need to reenergize yourself. So take some time to sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Get crazy with your routine.

Repetition is just plain boring. Sure, you get to remember things better with routine but in the long run, you may feel like a robot. There's no excitement anymore; there is just a need to get things done. When this happens, change your schedule a little bit. A little tweak here and there could make you more attentive.

Celebrate small achievements.

To make a big goal less intimidating, it can be broken up into small stages. Success in these small stages can not only be used to measure your progress, it's also a great motivator. Take pride in these little achievements. With every little victory, your confidence becomes bigger. You can take on anything that comes your way.

Remember the purpose of your goal.

The reason behind your goal is the main driving force that made you want that goal in the first place and will make you want to pursue it no matter what. So when you are in doubt, think of the purpose of your goal. This will help you realize what matters most.

Just feel good and love yourself.
When you experience some failures, never put yourself down. During these times, think of all the good things in your life. Look back on good memories and be grateful for them. You are still alive and kicking; you can do so much more.

0 How Realistic Are Your Personal Goals

Goal setting is very important, but it must be done with realistic personal goals. You cannot expect to make a million dollars sitting at a desk all day and twirling your thumbs. It would be wonderful, it is a nice thought, but realistically, you must take the necessary steps to get the end results you want. You have a desire and you have the ability to make that desire come true. You just have to figure out how to do it. You can be a millionaire if you want to be. You just need to take the steps to position yourself to be one. If others have done it, so can you!

You already have a list of your ideal personal goals and dreams, write them down. With this, you have, in a sense a picture of the treasure chest you want to find and get to. You just have to figure out how to do it.
Okay, so you take out your list. You have written that you want to own real estate. You want to refurbish foreclosed properties and rent out apartments. Trump's logic of making money from real estate really sits well with you. You are in with your personal goals.

With the money you make off the numerous properties you own, you will be able to travel the world, and work when you want. Your will love your work and you will have a family, with children and the home of your dreams overlooking a peaceful, placid lake. You can picture it all clearly.

This is the first step to making it happen.

Some people go their whole lives and never even know what they truly want, what would make them happiest. You have already done something that some people will never ever do. This took work, this took soul searching, this took believing in yourself, and it all calls for a well-deserved validating moment.

Breathe in, you can keep going. You can make all your personal goals come true by improving yourself.

Now make another list. This one will list point by point, in order, every single step that needs to be taken to accomplish your personal goals. This is a challenging task because at every step, it is easy to fall prey to the fearful voices in your mind. If or when this occurs, stop, put down your pen and envision the picture of your dream. Do this until you are breathing calmly again, until you feel at peace. Then begin again. You can get through the whole list. Persevere, push through, you are worth the effort it takes to make your personal goals, personal dreams come true!

0 Truly - Do You Know What You Want in Life?

Many people won't discover what they want in life, ever. They go through life from one job to another and one pastime to the next always feeling let down and as if something was 'missing' from their life.

Not knowing what they want, many spend the best years of their lives in jobs they hate, going through the motions, and wondering what life would be like 'only if...' without giving serious thought to what they truly want in life. Much like zombies, they end up watching television every night just to numb themselves from disappointment.

This reminds me of the author who said that... "Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty." This is not only distressing but heartbreaking. These people don't realize that they are hurting themselves as well as others because they are not only preventing themselves from living a life of fulfillment but the world from experiencing their unique talents and abilities.

With the advent of Life coaching, more than ever people are seeking help to discover what they want in life, from the inside out. This has nothing to do with what others believe they are good at, but with inner calling which is unique to each one of us.

So... What do you really want in life?

If, like many people you struggle in answering this question, you should know that the first step is to become conscious of the fact that it is time to give serious thought to this matter; time for self exploration and time to take action.

One thing is for sure... if you don't give this the importance it deserves, you will let time pass you by. If it is OK for you to live life just as it comes to you, no action is needed then. However, if you are like most of us who are into personal growth, a life with no definite plans and goals will lead to an aimless and empty existence.

The good news is that regardless of age or life circumstances, you can arrive at your own unique answer; that one which is right for you and you alone. As usual, it is all about choice... your choice.

Here are a couple of points to help you discover what you want in life.

1. Take a Deep Look into Your Heart.

In today's world, most people are ruled by logic. People live by what they've been told they are good at, of by what they think they should be doing based on the economy, their salary or their position in society.

However, if that is not true to them they will sooner or later encounter a feeling of emptiness or dissatisfaction which -if properly identified and given attention to- can become the catalyst into the exploration of alternatives. If this is your situation, this moment offers the perfect timing to listen to your heart. Your heart desires will lead you to your authentic self.

When you take regular time for self exploration, you will eventually be able to 'listen' to your heart's desires. You will know you have arrived at your answer because there will be a positive emotion behind this realization. To confirm this, it will feel right when you move the idea from your heart to your mind, and when your heart and your mind are congruent with each other you will have discovered your true passion.

Anything that you do with passion will be accomplished without hesitation and with great pleasure. You will pour yourself into the task while feeling no pressure or resistance regardless of obstacles, difficulties or setbacks. This is what you want to do in life!

2. Listen to the Voice of Your Intuition.

Once you have looked within, you will become acquainted with your inner guide. We call it intuition. Your intuition will urge you to act and follow a particular path based not on logic but on what feels right. Once you've learned to access your authentic self, your only responsibility is to actively listen to your intuition.

This is when self determination will be a must, as those in your circle of influence will try -with the best of intentions- to discourage you and advise you on the reasons why what you want would not work. It is human nature to want to protect those we love; however, nobody should be allowed to run your life but you.

You should hear them out, but the final decision should be yours based on your evaluation to determine if their advice is worthy of consideration... What kind of a life do they live? Have they achieved their dreams?
Never forget that it is your life that is on the line here, not theirs.

And above all, always remember that every person has the right to pursue his or her destiny, and decide what they truly want in life, even if that means making a few inevitable mistakes here and there. Thus, take a deep look into your heart and listen to your instincts. The rest will fall into place as if by miracle.

0 Improving Your Life in Three Easy Steps

When you stop and analyze your life, are you happy with where you are now? Are you doing what you want to do and living the life that you want to live? The chances are that the answer here is no.

Most of us tend to just float through life. We have dreams and goals but all too often we put them to one side and we let other things get in our way of achieving what we want. However, it really doesn't have to be that way and there are three simple steps that you can take today if you want to improve your life.

Step One - Knowing What You Want

The first step to changing your life is to know what it is that you want. This may sound like a simple step, but it can actually be a lot more difficult than you would first imagine.
Many people think that they know what they want, when in fact once they come to think about it, they actually have no idea. So to determine what you want out of life you should think about the following:

o What makes you happy?
o What are your talents?
o Is there anything you have always wanted to do?

Don't think about the reasons why you haven't achieved what you want as that will only give you a negative mindset. Simply list all of the things that make you happy and which you would like to achieve. Knowing what you want out of life is the first step to achieving it.

Step Two - Creating Realistic Goals

The second step to changing your life is to analyze what you want and then set simple goals to achieve them. No matter what it is that you want out of life, it can be achieved if you break it down into small steps.

If you would like a new job and you hate what you currently do then the steps you can take to change that can easily be broken down. First you need to decide what it is you want (see step one). Then you need to see what skills you need for that job. If you do not have the necessary skills then set goals to achieve them. Perhaps you could take a part time night course at college to attain the skills that you need? These days it is easy to get back into education and get the skills needed for any job no matter what your age. Then once you have the skills you can start applying for jobs that appeal to you.

If your goal on the other hand is to travel more then figure out where you want to go first and start a savings account. If you have trouble saving money then be stricter on your budget. Cut back on entertainment each month and added food that you do not need. It is surprising how much money you can save once you put your mind to it.

Step Three - Keeping Motivated

The last stage to achieving your life goals is to keep yourself motivated. This is the main step which people have a problem with. It is all well and good knowing what you want to do and setting goals to achieve it, but sticking to those goals can be hard work. However, like the saying goes "nothing that is worth it is easy to achieve." If you want something you have to work hard to get it. So do things that keep your motivation up.

If you are trying to save for a holiday then keep brochures of where you are going so that you can keep looking at it. Make an itinerary showing where you will be going and what you will be doing. This should help you to stay focused on what you want and you will then be likely to save more for the holiday.

Overall no matter what your goals, if you follow the above three steps then you can change your life for the better. It is all about keeping a positive state of mind and doing things that keep you motivated to follow through with your goals.

0 Life Is a Journey - How You Travel Is Up to You

Are you happy with your life? At this point in time, do you really feel good about the road you are travelling on, or do you feel you have strayed off course and are blundering around in the wilderness?

It is easy to get side tracked in life. Some of those innocent side tracks can hijack the eager traveller with promises of all sorts of appealing things, but in reality only lead to a dead-end.

Tired and weary, the traveller then has to go back to square one and begin again. Some never go back, they just stay stuck where they are, never reaching their full potential or true destination.

How do you avoid hitting a road block or dead-end? Well it's not always easy as life seems to take great pleasure in throwing them our way. Maybe life is testing us to see how well we bounce when hit hard with an obstacle?

The secret to a successful life is knowing that there will always be problems ahead. That is what life is all about, it is about solving problems. That's it! Just as the tide ebbs and flows, there will be times of high achievement and times of problems and disappointments. These times are known as the valleys and peaks in life. The valleys are where you want to spend the less time as this is where the problems are, in the shadow of the peaks. Your goal is to climb and struggle to the top of the peak where the air is pure and clean, and the view is amazing.

To put it simply - if you know there are always going to be obstacles ahead, then you are not disheartened when you find them. If you know where you are going, if you have a strong goal that you are passionate about achieving, then you will be able to find a way around any roadblock. You learn to think more creatively and can find a way - you could go around it, over it, or dig your way under it metaphorically speaking.

To the wise traveller, any problem is just a challenge to find a solution. Failure doesn't worry them, and even if they do fail on any one attempt, they learn from the experience and move on, rather than crying and giving up. They are flexible in their attitude, and confidant of their ability.

This is the message I want to convey to you. Never give up on your dreams. Yes, you can alter them, you can adjust the goal as you move through life. And adjust you should. Just like a pilot makes small adjustments through the planes journey to ensure arriving at the right destination, so too should you. Things change, circumstances force new paths upon us, life is never standing still.

The trick is to be aware of this, so that you take disappointments in your stride. They might slow you down, you may need to stop for a short rest to catch your breath, but if you have the right attitude you will always get up again and trek onwards.

One thing people get hung up on is the reaching of that ultimate goal. They focus like a laser beam on it and that is all they see. But another secret to a good fulfilling life is that we must enjoy the journey towards our goals. On our trail we pass many wonderful sights, meet so many fascinating people, and journey along some amazing paths. Take the time to enjoy the trip, take the time to smell the roses as they say. Play with the kids, run with the dog, enjoy the tranquillity of a beautiful garden. These are mini rewards along the way for you.

It is good to be goal orientated and focused on your purpose, but if you just travel the straight line you may finally get your goal only to feel disappointed. You could miss a lot of fun along the way. Travel with your eyes wide open, be receptive to opportunity. Even enjoy the odd bump in the road.

Life is a wonderful journey full of possibilities. As you go from valley to peaks, take it all in your stride. With the right attitude you can do anything. As many a great master has said - you are what you think. Take care of what you think - it is the difference between a mediocre life or an amazing life. Which one do you want your life to be?

0 Life Is Not Easy - Be Prepared For a Challenge

Some things seem as if they will be easy but they turn out to be more of a challenge than you thought they would be.

For example you want to change your life so you have done all the things you know you must do, and each step has its own challenge to overcome before you reach your desired new life.

Here are the steps and possible challenge you may encounter for each of them:

1.Think of how you would like your life to be.

If you find visualisation difficult to do you may give up at this first step. You may be sure of what you don't want in your life any more, but not yet clear about what you do want. You know you want to move away from the pain but have not yet clarified the pleasure you will have when you do this.

2. Enhance and develop your vision of your ideal life and become familiar with as many details as possible about the future you hope for.

For each part of your life you no longer want, you will need to define what you want. This could relate to sounds, smells or how you would feel in a particular situation. This might be a challenge at first but you can eventually trigger different feelings inside you in relation to how you want your life to be, even without being in the actual situation.

3. Break your big vision into smaller achievable goals.

If you try to jump straight into your vision in one big step it might be too much to do in one leap, so get used to asking yourself what steps you will take to achieve what you want.

3. Divide each goal into small steps

Maybe you find it difficult to get started with the changes you must make to reach your vision, and so tend to procrastinate and do nothing. You need to learn that even a very small step makes a difference, so if you aren't making the progress you want then try taking smaller steps.

4. Take a little step each day to move towards your goals which will enable you to live the life you visualised.

Consistency is the answer, a little bit each day will be cumulative and change will happen, even if for a while nothing seems to change. However your life is changing and eventually you will achieve your goals along the way and have the life you want.
