Some things seem as if they will be easy but they turn out to be more of a challenge than you thought they would be.
For
example you want to change your life so you have done all the things
you know you must do, and each step has its own challenge to overcome
before you reach your desired new life.
Here are the steps and possible challenge you may encounter for each of them:
1.Think of how you would like your life to be.
If
you find visualisation difficult to do you may give up at this first
step. You may be sure of what you don't want in your life any more, but
not yet clear about what you do want. You know you want to move away
from the pain but have not yet clarified the pleasure you will have when
you do this.
2. Enhance and develop your vision of your
ideal life and become familiar with as many details as possible about
the future you hope for.
For each part of your life you
no longer want, you will need to define what you want. This could relate
to sounds, smells or how you would feel in a particular situation. This
might be a challenge at first but you can eventually trigger different
feelings inside you in relation to how you want your life to be, even
without being in the actual situation.
3. Break your big vision into smaller achievable goals.
If
you try to jump straight into your vision in one big step it might be
too much to do in one leap, so get used to asking yourself what steps
you will take to achieve what you want.
3. Divide each goal into small steps
Maybe
you find it difficult to get started with the changes you must make to
reach your vision, and so tend to procrastinate and do nothing. You need
to learn that even a very small step makes a difference, so if you
aren't making the progress you want then try taking smaller steps.
4. Take a little step each day to move towards your goals which will enable you to live the life you visualised.
